Silver up 47% this year

In 2010 the price of silver had risen an amazing 47%, to levels last seen 30 years ago. A combination of solid investment demand, and rising industrial demand, had pushed the price through the US $25 per ounce mark. "Like gold, silver is a speculator's investment, so one has to be careful when making projections, but if this is what happens in bad economic times", said Darryl Moss of Metso. "Good times could see an even more positive picture."
