India in race to develop Gabon

Two Indian companies and a Singapore based developer have signed agreements with Gabon, securing African markets, supplies and resources. Real estate developer M3M India will develop 5000 low cost houses in Gabon during the next two years, and will develop a resort city near the capital, Libreville, and possibly on Gabon's Atlantic coast. Total cost for the three projects is about $1.1-b, reports Industrial Info Resources of Sugar Land, Texas. Indian construction company Ramky Infrastructure will build 1000 km of sealed roads in Gabon in the next three years, at $1.5-b, financed jointly by Ramky and Gabon state.
